Every paper will be presented
first in a plenary session and later on the same day in a poster session.
For the plenary presentation of your paper, you have 20 minutes, including 5 minutes for questions. So you should prepare a 15 minute presentation. The main purpose of this plenary talk is:
to introduce yourself and your research group, and to indicate how the research topic of your contribution fits in this research context;
to sketch the main ideas and contributions of your paper, without going into real detail (details can be left to the poster session);
to motivate the audience to visit your poster later on the same day.
You can use viewgraphs or an electronic system such as Powerpoint or Acrobat Reader. There will be appropriate
equipment at the meeting.
The poster presentation will allow you to give a more detailed description of your contribution, with technical results, etc. Poster sessions will last at least one hour. Our poster boards measure 1m x 1,3 m, and they can be used in both orientations.
